Low Dose Allergy Immunotherapy (LDA) is a safe and effective practice for relief of allergy symptoms (immune reactions) including:
What is LDA Immunotherapy?
www.drshrader.com/lda_therapy.htm
LDA (low-dose antigen) is an extremely low dose immunotherapy that uses broad-based mixtures of allergens (antigens) made immunologically active by the enzyme glucuronidase. This therapy utilizes the body’s capability to create an immune response that inhibits the typical symptoms that are produced from allergic antigens that include hay fever, chronic sneezing, chronic runny nose, chronic post nasal drip, congestion, seasonal allergies, eczema, rashes, etc.
U.S. based allergic therapy utilizes “B” cells or otherwise known as “Plasma cells” that create antibodies to antigens like pollen, grasses, weeds, etc. “B” cells that form antibodies typically hand around in the body for 9 days, thus the reason that a typical allergy patient has to get “allergy shots” every 2 weeks.
LDA therapy was derived from studies from the EPD (enzyme-potentiated desensitization) therapy created in the 1960’s in England. This therapy utilizes the body’s capability to create an immune response from “T” cells or “T-lymphocytes”. These “T” cells hang around in the body for 90 days and thus this therapy, once initiated need only 3-6 month shots and not the normal 2 week visit.
LDA Immunotherapy is utilized for any allergic or chronic condition listed below and typically used when U.S. based therapy fails. This failure has been reported to be as high as 20-30% in some studies.
LDA/EPD/LDA Immunotherapy
Several conditions which are difficult to treat and do not respond extremely well to typical allergy drug therapy and cannot be treated with conventional allergy immunotherapy appeared to respond well to EPD/LDA in this study quoted below. The quite successful response (in regards to severity) of such conditions as perennial asthma, (732 patients with 75% success), headaches (1186 patients with 75% success), food intolerance - or food reactions, which in most cases was moderate to moderately severe (2857 patients with 74% success), chronic perennial rhinitis (2258 patients with 74% success), hyperactivity/attention deficit disorder (578 patients with 70% success) and eczema or severe dermatitis (669 patients with 69% success), are just a few conditions, to any type of immunotherapy should be considered dramatic.

Dr. Roman has been practicing medicine since 1993 and has spent most of his life as a professor educating physicians. During that time, he has been largely involved with emergency medicine, allergy and preventive care, urgent care and family practice. He has been instrumental in creating and operating different clinics either on his own or in leadership roles with major universities. He has been trained in both family practice and emergency medicine and also LDA therapy and has over 16 years of LDA treatment experience and is the most experience LDA allergy doctor in the Southeast. His focus is getting at the true cause and preventing the disease and not simply adding a drug or medicine with potential side effects to alleviate a symptom. You must have balance when it comes to diet/exercise/environment and emotional health. He has delivered immunotherapy for over 16 years by treating patients with LDA (low dose antigen therapy) for those with allergies, sinus problems, autoimmune disease like arthritis, chronic skin allergies and a multiple array of complex immune pathology. This LDA treatment really works and is becoming more and more popular as patients and doctors realize that the environment and our reaction to the environment has significant impact on our overall health. He currently holds a doctorate of medicine and a master’s in business. He has been on and currently served on many boards listed below and currently serves on two.
